The text block is a bit shaken from the weakness of the front hinge, but otherwise remains tight. The paper has lightly tanned to a yellow-ish tone, but remains bright. Bould in a redish patterned cloth over boards. The spine has faded to almost a gold color. There are the remnants of a paper label with the title on the spine. The corners are turned and the rear bottom corner of the front cover has worn through to expose the board. The hinge has split at the frontis, which is detached at the head and foot on the gutter, but holding in the middle. The rear hinge is holding with only a small split in the end paper at the foot.
