Description:
Richard Howard Stafford Crossman (1907-1974) Labour politician. Rare TLS from Crossman on New Statesman headed notepaper dated 17th April 1972. Crossman was editor at the time, but on the verge of leaving. His correspondent here is Philip Dosse publisher of the magazine 'Books and Bookman' as well as several other publications. Crossman states his interest in reviewing for the magazine once I am rid of the chore here in the Statesman which should be within a very few weeks. Good condition, couple of names in pencil written verso.
