One action shot of Miss E.L Heine, serving, has been signed in faded ink "Yours, 'Bobby'" to the lower corner (Esther Laurie Henie - Later Bobbie Heine Miller). Most identified to the reverse in pencil;Identified tour members in these photographs include; Miss E.L Heine, Mrs Neave, Miss Cole, Miss Tapscott, Arthur Aiken, Roy Malcolm.

The George and Vulture is mentioned at least 20 times in the 1837 novel The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens, who frequently drank there himself. It has been the headquarters of the City Pickwick Club since its foundation.
