Delta Publications / DPA-LTA Enterprises, 1981. The front pastedown and front endpaper have separated from each other along the binding. Other than that, the interior is in excellent condition. No creases, writing or underlining. There are gray smudges on the white cover, giving it a somewhat dirty appearance. Still a good readable copy of a vintage, out-of-print book. NO JACKET (as issued). This 250-page book features 600 black-and-white photographs, some engineering drawings, and a condensed history of Budd Railway Passenger Cars. An earlier, shorter book on the history of Budd by the same author that was published in 1979 is listed separately.. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket As Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Delta Publications Associates, 1979. Originally a paperback, this book has been rebound as a hardcover. There are staples holes in the gutter of each page where the pages were once stapled to a paperback binding. No creases, writing or underlining. This edition contains more than 300 black-and-white photographs with short descriptions, 84 pages. A follow-up edition by the same author (published in 1981) that features these photographs plus an additional 300 b&w photographs, is listed separately.. Hardcover. Delta Publications, 1981. Volumes 1 & 2. The covers have small surface tears at the top and bottom of the spine. Both books have a few gray smudges on the cover from being stored in a dusty environment. There are a few tiny splatter stains on Vol. 1's cover, as well. The interiors are in nice condition with no creases, writing or underlining in either book. Volume 1 has 200 b&w photos showing mainline passenger cars (1945 through to the superliners), Amtrak superliners and passenger cars for export. Volume 2 has 200 b&w photos showing business executive cars, observation car ends, the 1948 dedication of the Twentieth Century Limited, Train X, the turbo train, single and bi-level suburban railway passenger cars, rapid transit system cars and the PCCs of Boston. .
