This is the exhibition catalog for the exhibit that appeared at the Owen Gallery from October through December of 2005. 9" X 9", 120 pages, perfect bound. The exhibit focused on the group of artists known as "The Eight', Henri, Sloan, Pendergast, Shinn, Glackens, Luks, and Davies. A coalition of artists who had their work rejected by the National Academy of Design in 1907. They organized an exhibit of their work at the Macbeth Gallery in New York the following year. Works of each artist are represented along with biographical details and critical analysis of each work. Also included is an index of the works in the exhibit.
