The view is looking up Broadway and a number of businesses are visible, including George L. Starks & Co., Blue Line Sport Shop, Alpine Hotel, Mark's Restaurant Bar and Grill, and Saranac Lake Supply. There's a small amount of snow on the ground, and holiday garland is strung across the street. Photographer unknown but the image was evidently published, with p. 113 and "ID. Ghost" on the reverse side. VG with typical signs of age, some spots to the mat. Could be framed as is or the mat trimmed to a smaller frame size.

Written by a blind girl from Vermont. 158 pp, woodcut illustrations. Small hardcover. 6 x 4 inches. Embossed blue cloth with gilt lettering. VG with moderate wear and signs of age. Sound binding. Foxing/stains to the title and frontispiece, but text is generally clean throughout. Early pencil inscription on a blank page reads: "Composed by a Blind girl / and bought for Albert H. Lindley." The author was from West Berkshire in the Green Mountains and says in the preface that she was blind from age 11.
