Description:
New York: Random House, 2000. First Edition / First Printing. Hardcover. Some foxing to top page edges, else near fine in a near fine dust jacket.. First Edition / First Printing. Hardcover. This copy is inscribed by Nancy Reagan on the title page to Capt. Joan ("Joanie") M. Huber, who served as Senior White House nurse for both the Reagan and Bush administrations. Additionally, there is a post-it inside on personalized Nancy Reagan post-it note paper bearing the White House Seal, on which is written: "Dr. Narva / Mrs. Reagan wanted to be personal in her inscription to Capt. Huber -- thus "Joanie". This was presumably written by a secretary or aid to Mrs. Reagan. It is unclear who "Dr. Narva" is but regardless, a very nice association copy. As Senior White House nurse, Joan, along with the White House Medical Unit, would have delivered 24/7 care to the President, Vice President, and their families, and accompanied them on global travels, as well as attended to critical and routine medical needs.…

Description:
Boston: Barta Press, 1907. [Privately Published]. Hardcover. Original wrappers bound into 3/4 leather and decorated painted Cockerell-style paper, with the same Cockerell style endpapers. Hinges starting but holding well. There is some whiteness along front cover at fold owing to flexing stress, but not detaching. Also a small bit of abrasion to heel of spine. Contents very good. Despite noted flaws, a very good and presentable copy.. [Privately Published]. Hardcover. The author is not named, although known to be Phillips. Not strictly published, but privately issued for the participants. Red 8vo printed wrappers. This copy has been rebound in 3/4 contemporary leather. Most likely one of very few thus. Even though there are other rebound copies available, they all appear to be much more recent. PLEASE NOTE that all our First Editions are also First Printings, unless we specifically note otherwise. All our dust jackets are protected in clear mylar covers.
