The author was a UK journalist who traveled to Spain at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War and enlisted in the International Brigade to fight against the fascists. A rare English language account of the early stages of that War, and the mood of the Spanish citizenry.
Condition of the book is Very Good. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked. The book shows general wear from age and storage.
Condition of the dust jacket is Very Good Minus. The DJ is complete, not price clipped. It shows moderate wear, including sun-lightening of the spine. It is protected in a new mylar cover.
