Description:
New Haven, Connecticut: Bronson, Walter ; New Haven, 1806. Early printing. Disbound. Fair. A scarce original edition sold despite its condition as a historical reference copy. 16mo, 6 3/4" tall, 294 pages (the essential content without original covers), spine covered by leather of uncertain origin and attached to a thin piece of wood which may have been part of the original cover on the front side only). This is a fair copy only and sold as is. The covers are missing along with endpapers; title page missing and the possible contents page, along with most of title page (publisher name, city, and date present on a small portion of lower title page); the primary contents are present, paper is moderately yellowed and foxed throughout, first and last page somewhat soiled from exposure, a few pages are marginally marked, many pages are dog-eared and the fore-edges are roughed with use but still supple. Because paper is not fragile, this could be rebound despite condition. Priced accordingly.
