"in commemoration of the entry of Greece into World war II on 28 October, 1940". Printed text facing facsimiles of holograph letters. Both letters written in 1940, as Greece was about to enter WWII. Fine. Writing to Henry Miller, Seferis asks his friend to write in support of Greek resistance to fascism. The Colossus of Marousi, which Miller noted as his favorite amongst his books, was published in 1941.
