Description:
Woburn, Mass: Cook Book Committee Patris, Ladies Philoptohos Society. Soft cover. Very Good. Undated, circa1970s; comb-bound in pictorial stock covers, 67 mimeographed pages, decorative chapter heads. Covers toned with a mild stain (milk, yogurt?) on front cover, internally clean and sound. "Kali orexi" is Greek for "good appetite." The cookbook seems geared to entertaining or special occasions with the opening chapter being Party Delights, and the final is Recipes for a Large Crowd. Chapters for meats and mains, vegetables and salads, breads, etc. Separate chapters for American Pastries and Greek Pastries, and a very brief chapter of Church Foods containing only two recipes, which are for ceremonies of death and living. Scarce, OCLC locates no copies and no copies on the market at this time.
