Description:
London, United Kingdom: Herbert Jenkins, 1951. Bound in the publishers red cloth with black title lettering to spine and front board. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Unusually there is no foxing to the book. The book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. A relatively unmarked copy. Housed in the colourful and typically hilarious dustwrapper which retains publishers printed price on front inside flap. There is slight loss to the tail of the spine with one hairline tear at front fold where the front panel meets the dustwrapper flap. Light signs of overall wear and signs of handling including some rubbing to the extremities. Rather fragile by nature this is not a dustwrapper to be easily encountered surviving in Very Good and above condition. Overall not a bad example which maintains a nice enough shelf appearance. Offered for your consideration at a reasonable price. Housed in the removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition.. First…
