Daehn 6126: "The first eighty-seven pages are an introduction to the history of the Parthian Empire, ca. 238 B.C. to A.D. 224. Discusses the culture of the Parthians and their interactions with the Roman Empire. This is followed by a catalogue of 645 coin types from the author's collection. Each of the silver types is illustrated. The types are cross-referenced to Sellwood's catalogue. Includes tables of monograms, mints, legends, and dates. Concludes with a chronological list of Parthian kings and a brief bibliography for Parthian history.".

Slightly different 8vo formats, original matching blue cloth, gilt. 77, (3) pages, extra binderís leaves; (4) pages, 22 fine photographic plates of tokens, some bound out of order, the final plate being the revised version usually seen. Very good. The very scarce limited edition with fine photographic plates. Signed and numbered by George Fuld. Davis 422.
