Issues are January 1, 6 (two copies), 13, 27 and February 3. An example of the early fiction of this prolific author, famous for being the first woman to write a detective novel. According to Wikisource Women of the Century: The serial, "The Tempter," a sequel to "The Wandering Jew," published in the " Home Journal," created a derided literary sensation, and the identity of the writer was then first established.
