Victorian humor is not funny - 6 cards mock fat men, more ridicule drunks, unattractive people, and foreigners; some with anti-Irish jabs, practical jokes, and many laughs at others' expense.A few of the cards advertise businesses selling furniture, soap, clothing, and stationery, located in Providence RI, Pen Yan NY, Glastonbury CT, New Bedford CT, and Portland ME.A few are full-color chromos, some monochromatic lithographs, and 7 monochromatic woodcuts. Condition generally good, used. all with light yellowing from age-toning; some with light creases, glue residue, or surface / edge wear; one with pencil marks.
