Superbly bound by Bumpus in full vellum in traditional "arts & crafts" style. Spine with gilt floral and stem design five and author / title label in rich green. raised bands and title / author in gilt. Richly decorated inner gilt dentelle work with further gilt fillet borders and cornices to both boards and light blue and rose end-papers and paste-downs. All page edges in gilt.

CONDITION
The binding is in wonderfully good condition indeed and holding very firm. I doubt the book has been opened to read. A few small blemishes and darker patches to the vellum (as expected) and the boards are very true, square and straight (vellum often warps).
