Good half leather bound with hard grain morocco at fore corners and spine over brown pseudo-marbled paper over boards; five raised bands with gilt dot and chain pattern; gilt titles. Clean covers and spine; rubbed at fore corners, boards just exposed on rear cover at fore corners; 1.5 x .5 inch leather chip missing at spine tail; cracked at cover/spine joints, end papers intact; covers weakened at hinge but all reamins tightly bound; clean interior; slight age darkening. 194 text pp; xxii b/w plates; VII color plates. Color plate IV is loose and laid in; all others intact in Very Good condition. Cf, OCLC #11046074. 8vo.
