In its original boards which have a design in blue, red, black, light brown and white in a kind of “c” shape with the opening of the “c” downwards. The spine, quarter boards and triangular covers of all corners are brown leather. The spine has 4 raised sections done in a rope design, two of them framing a red area where the title is done in gilt. The front cover has the paper worn away on top and bottom board edges, exposing the board but with almost no erosion of the boards. The front cover design area has several areas where it is worn away but only the surface design is gone, the board is whole and strong underneath, there are no holes and no gouges or rips. Castellesi fu grechista, ebraista, autore di poemetti, opere di stile, grammatiche e filosofico-teologiche. Espertissimo di affari, si arricchì enormemente destando in tal modo l'invidia di Cesare Borgia che tentò di avvelenarlo. Andato in esilio e ritornato in patria all'avvento di Leone X, dovette ritornarvi perchè accusato di aver preso parte alla congiura del Cardinale Petrucci. Da questo momento in poi non si sa più nulla di lui: sembra che sia stato assassinato a scopo di furto da uno dei suoi servitori. 1691 1ed Maurice Diocesan Episcopacy Anglican Bishops Great Ejection Act 1662
In late 17th-century England, numerous Protestant and Anglican ministers began publishing books in response to the Great (minister) Ejection Act of 1662. David Clarkson and Welsh minister Henry Maurice were two such names. Maurice's "Defence of Diocesan Episcopacy" was a direct response to Clarkson's "Primitive Episcopacy" both of which argued over which powers and jurisdictions bishops should have.
