A total of 169 sepia/b&w plates, line drawings and extensive Italian text relating to architectural ironwork from the Neo Classical, Baroque and Renaissance periods. Examples of ironwork covered far ranging including gates, balconies, lights, statues, doorknobs, candlebras, staircases. Green cloth with gilt titling on spine and black and gilt title box on front panel. Bumping and rubbing to corners and head and foot of spine. Carefully repaired split on spine. Owners name on ffep, age darkening to endpapers, text pages clean and bright. A good copy. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
