About This Item
Good+ hard cover. Limited edition of 100 copies; signed by the artist. Black sand-grain cloth over bevel-edged boards, gilt stamped title on front cover; 9 lithographs of ink drawings in passe-partout framing recto with tissue-guards verso with text printed in Latin, German, English and French. Covers are lightly scuffed; clean but front cover has faint damp staining near top edge; front cover title gilt has some chipping; rubbing wear at spine ends with light fraying; tightly bound; all prints and text present and in very good condition. Title page has artist's full signature in pencil with date that appears to be 1925 (see photo). The artist was born 1906 and so would be 19 years of age if 1925 is correct. Large 4to (31 x 24 cm).
