About This Item
London: London: J. Dodsley, in Pall Mall, 1773. Full leather. Very Good. Octavo; "New edition", volume 3 only; 248pp. In full original eighteenth century calf (a little worn) with five raised spine bands, gilt lettered title label to second compartment, gilt volume number to third compartment, sporadic unobtrusive spots and stains but overall a clean copy complete with attractive hand-produced marbled page at p.21-22. A very pleasant example in its original binding from one of the earliest six-volume editions.
