Rebound at some time in full leather with gilt titling on the spines. Edges speckled red. Engraved portrait frontispiece in Volume 2. Some minor dampstaining in Volume 4. A previous owner's very old and attractive bookplate in Volume 1. A lovely old set of this famous work which was first published in French in 1717.. First Edition in English. Full Leather. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
