. Peter and Wendy, often referred to as Peter Pan, stands as a creation by J. M. Barrie, presented both as a 1904 theatrical piece and a 1911 literary work. Both renditions unfurl the tale of Peter Pan, a playful, mischievous yet guileless young lad endowed who can fly, embarking on myriad escapades within the enchanting confines of Neverland.
This fantastical realm is home to mermaids, fairies, Indigenous peoples, and swashbuckling pirates. Central to the narrative are Wendy Darling and her siblings, John and Michael, along with Peter's sprightly companion, Tinker Bell, the band of Lost Boys, and the formidable pirate, Captain Hook. Barrie's creative inspiration for this enduring story stemmed from his relationship with the Llewelyn Davies family.
