Chicago Illinois: Fairbanks and Palmer Publishing Co.. Good+. 1887-1888. Hardcover. ; Very rare. 18 volume set. Half brown morocco leather bound covers with 4 raised bands and brown pebbled boards are worn at extremities with chipping to a couple of the spine strips and damp damage to the boards of volume IV but overall in good+ condition. Boards and spines are straight. Bindings are tight. Gilt pages edges all the way around are scuffed but bright. Marbled end sheets and paste downs clean, bright, and glossy. Frontispieces of the presidents protected by tissue. Pages are lightly toned but clean and very good. .
