Collected here for the first time ever are the surviving eyewitness accounts of the Bozeman's civilian emigrants: 24 diaries written during the journey and 9 reminiscences prepared sometime afterward. It is a remarkable compilation. Most have never before been published, and those that have are in sources not readily available. A highly collectable two volume set in prime condition.
