The gilt lettering and black illustration on the green cloth cover board and spine are in very good condition although there is some bumping and wear on the corners and edges. This inscribed copy was gift to a young girl, Ada Bullers, for her work at the Hunslet Sunday School, Leeds, UK in 1879. This is the memoir of Mrs. Jane Tucker, the wife of the Rev. Charles Tucker, "Sometimes missionary to Haabai and Tonga" in the South Pacific. The book was written by her niece who spent time with her aunt during her later years back in England.
