Charles Cotton and Izaak Walton's 'The Complete Angler' was an important and extremely popular game and hunting book from 1653. This 1784 edition includes woodcut illustrations most of which depict fish and fishing tackle. It was edited by John Hawkins, and the Hawkins editions are some of the best of all 'Angler'
