Color pictorial endpapers. Eight full page color illustrations and numerous in black and white. Some light foxing. Vellum cover a bit bowed. A very nice copy of a beautifully illustrated book.

This edition is limited to 129 copies of which 120 copies are for sale. This is copy #34 and is signed by Norman Lindsay. Forty-five fabulous reproductions of original etchings have been made under the supervision of Mr. F.J. Newbery of the Chiswick Press. Scarce.

Reuben Swinburne Clymer (November 25, 1878 - June 3, 1966) was an American occultist and modern Rosicrucian Grand Supreme Master of the FRC (Fraternitas Rosae Crucis).

Covici, Friede, 1928. Limited Edition. Full Leather. Near Fine. Quarto. Sumptiously bound in full green morocco with gilt design to front cover and spine as well as gilt lettering to spine. Silk doublures. Three raised bands. 308pp. Full page black and white illustations. This is one of thirteen special copies SIGNED on half title page by Bulliet. There is a full page watercolor drawing SIGNED by artist Alexander King opposite page one. The illustration is an image of two semi-naked men in drag. One holding a mirror while the other man applies lipstick. Except for some edge wear at bottom of covers, this is a beautiful copy.

New York: The Vanguard Press, 1937. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 27.5 x 21 cm. Quarto. Blue boards in dust jacket. SIGNED by Dr. Seuss and inscribed "for Michael" opposite the title page. The previous owner had the book signed at a book signing Dr. Seuss held at Dayton's department store around 1977-1980. Originally published in 1937, this is a reprint circa 1980. There is a worn patch on the cover measuring ~3 x 3 cm. Light rubbing to edges of the boards. Dust jacket is price clipped and shows some light edgewear.

Pictorial endpapers. Color and black and white illustrations by Eloise Wilkin, who is best remembered for all the Little Golden Books she illustrated. Gift inscription of previous owner on front free endpaper. Dust jacket has some chipping to edges with some loss at head and tail of spine.

Los Angeles, California: Edward Ruscha, 1966. Wraps. Near Fine in Very Good slipcase. 18 x 14 cm. 12mo. Black and white panoramic photographic artist book. Accordion style binding bound in wrappers housed in silver foil covered slipcase. Folds-out ot 27 ft. This is one of 5000 copies of the second issue which lacks the extra- 2-inch flap at the end of the last folded page to accommodate the full image. Ruscha was unhappy with this and the image was cropped in this issue. The 4th of Ruscha's 16 self-designed and published artist's books. Slipcase cracked at one fold. There is a vertical crease noticable to the spine. Reference: Andrew Roth - "Book of 101 Books". (pp 182-185).

Includes the 32pp introductory pamphlet as well as all 100 architectural plates, some in color, on thick high quality paper. Housed in 1/2 cloth tie-string portfolio. Limited to 2600 copies of which this is copy 460c. Bit of edgewear to the portfolio itself and fading. American edition of the work "Ausgeführte Bauten und Entwürfe von Frank Lloyd Wright", printed by Wasmuth of Berlin in 1910, this being a near facsimile. The original is considered Wright's most influencial work with entire schools of architectural design and thought having been founded on individual buildings and ideas presented in the portfolio. The vast majority of the original 1910 American edition were lost to fire. Large work, shipping outself the US will require substantial additional shipping charges.
